MadTek began in 2002 as a specialized hosting company providing customers with value added hosting services for open source platforms and online shopping carts. Not long after building a client base hosting multiple applications MadTek was propelled into the world of website cyber security helping clients manage the relentless onslaught of hackers seeking to exploit vulnerabilities.
The experience of managing and remediating compromised websites for over a decade led MadTek to develop in-house security tools that help owners detect suspicious behavior on their websites. Early detection and identification of a website intrusion has proven to be a powerful tool for protecting websites. Enabling website owners to identify the malicious files placed on their website by hackers is a first step toward secure recovery from a website breach. The value of intrusion detection in the cyber security ecosystem has inspired MadTek to bring an innovative solution to website owners to add to their toolkit of defenses against cyber criminals and hackers.
In 2013 Ted Corvette joined Madtek founder, Jesse Eversole, and founded Madtek Associates, Inc. to acquire all of the assets of the original Madtek Associates Incorporated and re-position the company in the digital website security space.
The MadTek Team

Jesse Eversole, MS - CTO and Co-founder
Jesse Eversole leads technology and operations at MadTek. Jesse began his career with IBM as a software developer on the Satellite Communications Controller project with Satellite Business Systems. This joint venture between IBM, MCI and Comsat delivered the first commercial communications satellite into orbit by the space shuttle. Since that time Jesse has worked and consulted with technology companies and research institutions including Northern Telecom, IBM, GTE Government Systems, AT&T, Verizon, Qualcom, Red Hat, Duke University, Wells Fargo Bank and Syngenta. Self-described as a "Generalist", Jesse's work has ranged from low level telecommunications software development to database design, statistical analysis, web development and digital marketing.
Throughout his career Jesse has maintained a passion for Internet security triggered by interests in encryption. This passion was cemented when Jesse was Director of Academic Computing at Duke University. Overseeing network security for over 17,000 nodes Jesse was on the front lines facing network security breaches and their remediation. This passion led Jesse in 2013 to join with Ted Corvette to lead MadTek into providing website security services and products.
Jesse holds a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Morehead State University. His personal interests include writing and performing music, playing pick-up soccer and his family.
