FTP OR SFTP INSTALLATION
* Download the madtek-entrusans.zip file from the order email to a directory of your choice on your local machine.
* Unzip the files into the directory
– entrusans.php
– activate.php
– READEME.txt
– LICENSE.txt
– /keys
* Create a new directory at any location under the top level directory of your website also known as DocumentRoot.
* FTP the unzipped files to the newly created directory.
* After copying the files to the new directory on the Entrusans™ IDS server the server will poll
the Entrusans IDS client and send a “First Scan” email to confirm a successful installation
and that Entrusans IDS is operational.
SSH INSTALLATION
* Copy the madtek-entrusans.zip file attached to the subscription signup verification email
to a directory of your choice on your local machine.
* Unzip the files into the directory
– entrusans.php
– activate.php
– READEME.txt
– LICENSE.txt
– /keys
* Create a new directory at any location under the top level directory of your website also known as DocumentRoot.
* Use scp to copy the files to the target directory on your server.
* After copying the files to the new directory the Entrusans IDS external server will find
the Entrusans IDS client and send a “First Scan” email to confirm a successful installation
and that Entrusans IDS is operational.
